It's a new day! I can post! *does happy dance* Urr...yeah. Who knows what the hell got into me. I'm a total posting fiend.
Saw Once tonight. It was so amazingly amazing. It is a movie that will stay with you. Definitely one of the best movies I've seen. It's not a feel-good movie...in fact, you leave the movie feeling rather desolate, I guess is a good word for it. It's a movie that doesn't give you what you want, but what is best for every character in the story. It just makes sense.
It might be deemed a "romantic musical," and yeah, I can see how it got that reputation, but it's not the stereotypical "romantic musical." The best quote describing the film is the critic's consensus found at Rotten Tomatoes' Once review page: "A charming, captivating tale of love and music."
Okay, now that I've totally hyped it up, y'all can go see it (if you can find it) and be disappointed that it's not nearly as good as I said it was, lol.
