Lair of the Social Leper

Sometimes, truth really is stranger than fiction. Dad and I went to McDo's tonight and, while we were in the car eating our food, he told me about the guy in a wheelchair who got caught on a semi's grille and taken for a five-mile ride. God, I about died laughing. How crazy is that? Poor guy!

Also, when we got home, there were three, beautiful bucks, with prize-winning racks in front of our lawn. Obviously, we did not want to get out of the car--the last thing I need is to be on the front page of the local paper for being gored by a deer--so we parked in front of the neighbours' house for nearly thirty minutes until the bucks (who, dad has speculated, run the local chapter of Lambda for Deer*) decided to stop mowing our yard, dammit all!

Yeah, I know, I promised to not post anything, and, two hours later, here I am w/ dorky stories, but I just had to share. I'll shut up now. *blush*

*The two bucks are always seen together with no does in sight. Our guess is that they're a couple, but they've picked up a third to join their lurve nest. Yes, I do realize that slashing (in the m/m sense, not the killing sense) deer is insane, but it's about as exciting as my life gets, so I just go with it.
